Inspired by the classic Levi's design from 1962, our modified take on the Type III jacket is cut slightly longer in the body, with the addition of hand-warmer pockets the construction of which also creates two internal storage pockets.
This version is made from our incredibly robust 19oz left-hand twill, woven under extreme tension to produce a dark indigo denim resulting in one of our toughest Type III jackets to date. As the denim is unsanforized and unlike our 19oz "lefty" jeans, we don't one-wash this model it creates a rarity in the Iron Heart lineup: a raw selvedge denim jacket.
Being a raw fabric, this denim is shrink-to-fit and will require time and effort to break in. But trust us, the fade potential on offer here is legendary.
